Our Little Downsend Leatherhead clubs give children the opportunity to develop sporting skills, build confidence and enjoy active sessions with their friends.

A fun first step into football for rising Reception children!

Our Little Downsend nursery football sessions introduce young children to football through enjoyable games, movement activities and simple challenges.

Designed for children preparing for Reception, sessions help build the physical, social and listening skills that support learning both in sport and in the classroom.

What will children enjoy?

  • Fun activities introducing kicking, dribbling and ball control.

  • Movement games that develop coordination and balance.

  • Listening, following instructions and taking turns.

  • Playing alongside friends and building confidence.

  • Positive encouragement from our coaching team.

Activities are adapted to suit young children's attention spans and stages of development. The aim is to help children feel comfortable, have fun and look forward to being active.
