Kiko Development: Building the player
More time on the ball, using both feet at speed. Players learn decision-making and team shape through possession-based football inspired by FC Barcelona.
Development is stage 3 of the Kiko pathway. Sessions get more challenging, with a bigger focus on technique, decision-making and game understanding. Players learn to control and pass the ball at speed with both feet, take positive risks, and understand space, formation and team shape.
Our coaching philosophy was shaped by time spent at FC Barcelona's academy, where we saw first-hand the value of consistency, attention to detail and purposeful planning. At this age, we aim to develop not only better footballers, but the right mindset for the game.
